For Current Educators - About to Retire
Congratulations - you're about to join us in retirement after your career in education. Below you can find some useful information - starting with the process you need to follow to successfully transition from full time employment to retired on your pension.

If you are planning to retire in 2022, we encourage you to attend a virtual “It’s Time to Retire” meeting this winter. The meetings are designed to explain how to initiate the retirement process. We will review the retirement paperwork and provide members with valuable information about TRIP health insurance and post-retirement employment.
TRS has arranged virtual meetings in January and through March. These will be held each week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Our meetings will be held via WebEx. You may register for any of the virtual meetings regardless of where you live. Register for the one most convenient for your schedule. You must register for a meeting in order to receive the email link that will allow you to join.
All webinars start at 4:30 p.m. and will last approximately an hour.
