2021 December Fundraiser and Party
As in years past, we had our Holiday Fundraiser and Party as the theme for our December 2021 Luncheon. The 2021 Fundraiser was our Traditional Holiday Basket Raffle.
Thanks to the generosity of all our members in attendance, our SSRTA has donated $500 to Respond Now. From their website:
“Our Mission: Respond Now exists to provide immediate relief for residents of Chicago’s South Suburbs who are in the most need while maintaining their dignity and affording them respect.”

On Monday, December 27th, your SSRTA Officers - Treasurer Martha Rago, Vice-President Larry Schwarberg, and President Tony Marturano - presented our check for $500 to Mr. Carl Wolf, the Respond Now Executive Director at the Respond Now offices in Chicago Heights. Congratulations to Respond Now for all their good works, and congratulations to all the SSRTA members in attendance at the December Luncheon and Party who made our contribution possible.
